Their journeys are filled with resilience, courage, and a determination to push past barriers, proving that bold actions lead to big impact.

We sat down with three remarkable women on our team, Lucy, Khadijah and Miracle  to hear their stories of taking risks, overcoming challenges, and uplifting others in their industries.

Lucy’s journey into the tech industry wasn’t conventional, but it was bold. Coming from a non-tech background, she took a leap of faith that transformed her career.

Taking Bold Action

“One bold action that made a difference in my life was pivoting into the tech ecosystem from a non-tech background. That one step transformed my career, opening doors I never imagined and positioning me for growth.”

Advice for Women Afraid to Take Risks

“Embrace the discomfort that comes with growth.”

Lucy understands that stepping into unfamiliar territory can be intimidating, but she believes that discomfort is often a sign of growth. By leaning into the challenge, women can unlock opportunities they never thought possible.

Overcoming Challenges

One of the biggest challenges Lucy faced was impostor syndrome, feeling like she didn’t belong in the tech space. But rather than letting doubt hold her back, she focused on mastering her skills.

“Stepping into the tech ecosystem from a non-tech background, I often questioned whether I truly belonged. To overcome this, I focused on mastering my skills.”

By continuously learning and honing her expertise, Lucy proved to herself and others that she belonged.

Miracle, Tele sales Executive

Miracle knows that bold moves define a career. Early on, she took a risk that most avoided—and it changed everything.

Taking Bold Action

“Early in my sales career, I took a risk by pitching to a big client others had given up on. I focused on value, addressed objections, and closed the deal. That moment boosted my confidence and proved that bold moves drive real results.”

Advice for Women Afraid to Take Risks

“Fear is normal, but regret is worse.”
Miracle ]believes that uncertainty is part of the journey, but growth happens outside your comfort zone. Whether it’s speaking up, applying for that role, or making that call taking the leap is always worth it.

Overcoming Challenges

As a woman in sales, Miracle] faced skepticism from clients who doubted her expertise. Instead of letting it discourage her, she turned it into motivation.
“Some clients doubted my expertise, but I mastered my pitch, knew my product inside out, and delivered results. Over time, my work spoke louder than any doubt.”
Through persistence and excellence, she proved her value—earning the respect and trust of clients.

Khadijah, UI/UX Designer & Technical Support Lead

Khadijah’s career took a defining turn when she decided to intern as a UI/UX designer while simultaneously leading the technical support department. It was a challenging but rewarding experience that set the foundation for her design career.

Taking Bold Action

“I took a bold step to intern as a UI/UX designer while also leading the technical support department. It was challenging and exciting at the same time. That step was the beginning of my career in design and allowed me to make a difference.”

Advice for Women Afraid to Take Risks

Khadijah’s advice is simple yet powerful:

“Do it scared, do it afraid, and continue with baby steps.”

She believes that fear shouldn’t be a roadblock; rather, it should be an indicator that you’re stepping outside your comfort zone, which is where growth happens.

Overcoming Challenges

For Khadijah, one of the biggest challenges has been balancing work, upskilling, and family responsibilities. Rather than facing it alone, she took the initiative to create a design accountability and growth group for women facing similar challenges.

“The group serves as a community that supports and motivates women to set goals and read design books. We meet twice a week to review activities and navigate challenges together.”

By fostering a network of support, Khadijah is not only growing her own skills but also empowering other women to thrive in tech.
