Purpose
To guide users on how to connect and configure a Bluetooth printer with the RawBT app for printing receipts or invoices from a tablet or mobile device.
Steps to Connect a Bluetooth Printer
Step 1: Download and install the RawBT app on your tablet or Android device.
Step 2: Turn on your Bluetooth printer.
Step 3: On your device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
Look for the printer name — usually displayed as “RPO2N”.
Step 4: Enter the default PIN (commonly 0000 or 1234) to pair and connect.
Setting Up the Printer in RawBT
Step 5: Open the RawBT app you just downloaded.
Step 6: Tap the three horizontal lines (☰) in the top-left corner to open the sidebar menu.
Step 7: Select Settings from the sidebar.
Step 8: Tap Add Printer.
Step 9: Choose Bluetooth as your connection mode.
Step 10: On the next screen, you’ll see four options Bluetooth, WiFi, USB, AIDL.
Select Bluetooth.
Step 11: Tap on “Not selected”, and a list of paired Bluetooth devices will appear.
Choose the Bluetooth printer you connected earlier (e.g., RPO2N).
Step 12: Tap Test and Connect to confirm your connection.
Once the test print is successful, you can proceed to print directly from Prokip.
Tips
- Ensure your Bluetooth printer is turned on before opening the RawBT app.
- Keep your printer close to the device for a stable connection.
- If the printer doesn’t connect, unpair and re-pair it again.
